Why WB absolutely needs Christian Bale's Dark Knight to return.

His three Batman have movies grossed 2 billion dollars, he's already a proven quantity and he would prove a nice balance to the relative rawness of Henry Cavill in the forthcoming attempts to build a DC Cinematic Universe. 

 Bale himself has publicly  said he's out of the Caped Crusader game, but I say malarky! Bale is almost guaranteed to return for at least three more films, the upcoming Superman/Batman movie, a Justice League and either a Trinity or a 4th Batman movie. 

 Also with rumors abounding that they are looking at actors in their 40's to play the Dark Knight, it would be stupid to not keep using Bale who is almost 40 years old.

 And the story of how Bale returns as Batman practically writes itself if they are using the story line of Superman bringing in a vigilante Batman at the behest of the government/shadow agency. There is no reason that we couldn't have Joseph Gordon Levitt return as Batman as well. 

 How is this possible, you demented baboon? you ask. 

 Simple, Superman apprehends JGL-Bats and drags him off to  the HQ of whoever sent Superman after Batman. But not before JGL-Bats sends an SOS to the only person he knows who can help him. BALE-BATS! or perhaps Alfred who being the only one who knows where Bale-Bats is, receives the SOS and tracks down Bale and tells him the bad news. 

 Meanwhile back with shadow agency who is attempting to Coerce JGL-Batman to work for them.

Interrogation goes back and forth with JGL-Bats learning a little of what the agency is. But the agents thinking they have an ace in the hole, in that they will tell the whole world that Batman is actually Bruce Wayne. 

Sitting back smugly in their chairs not anticipating the response of Batman laughing. What's so funny? they ask.  "Bruce Wayne is dead". Batman responds. "There was no body in that grave or anywhere else, Mr. Wayne." the Agents respond. "I'm not Wayne, gentlemen." Batman says as he laughs more. The agents snap "We will prove that you are Bruce Wayne!" They rip off is mask and not seeing the face they expected "Who the hell is this?!?" 

Suddenly the alarms sound and over the loud speaker a voice is heard "All guards to upper level we are under attack". Explosions rock the complex sending the men sprawling across the floor. "Get Superman here on the double"

meanwhile on the upper level smoke fills the entire view as Superman lands in the midst of a pile of unconscious soldiers. Looking around at the chaos trying to seek out the attacker, a voice comes from out of the smoke "I was wondering when you would show up." Superman clears the smoke and dust with his powers and as the smoke clears Bale-Bats comes into view standing over the body of an unconscious soldier. Superman looks slightly surprised at these turn of events, and he says out loud for the lead agent to hear him "confirm you have Batman in custody", "Confirmed, why?" "Because I'm looking at him now" 

 A few minutes later, Batman and Superman are still testing each other's abilities.  Finally Batman throws a couple of batarangs only for Superman to let them harmlessly bounce off of his chest. Superman looks at Batman disbelief, "Did you really think that would stop me?". Superman starts towards Batman and grabs him by the throat, Batman grabs two more batarangs out of his belt. Superman seeing this says "You don't learn do you?"  "Not really" Batman says as he clicks  a button on the batarangs and jams them into Superman's cape. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH" Superman screams and clasps his ears as the sonic waves emitting from the batarangs assault him. Batman backs away.

 Even later..

 The battle has raged on and Batman is worn out, sensing this Superman moves in for the final blow. "I have no idea what you hoped to gain by this, but clearly you weren't prepared for me". Superman punches, Batman ducks under and his delivers an uppercut that sends Superman landing flat on his back, blood running from his mouth. Batman shakes his fist in pain. Superman attempts to rise to his feet but Batman is on him in a moment wrapping his hands around Superman's throat.  And Batman growls, "

I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you"


After that it somehow comes to light that the agency is actually bad, and Superman and Batman team and shut down the agency or do they?


Anyway it's revealed that Batman had laced his gloves with Kryptonite that he activated to increase it's potency and that is how he was able to clobber Superman. But he fractured his hand in the process. Also JGL is Batman of Gotham, and Bale is Batman international. Also it wouldn't hurt to if they introduced John Jones at the end of the movie.
