Ben Affleck is Batman!

I loathe the movie already, in my mind Ben Affleck is completely the wrong choice for the role. Not much more is known at this point. As usual I give accreditation to /Film 

but before I rant, we first need to jump IN A DISAPPOINTED TEMPER TANTRUM!

 

They totally messed up the perfect opportunity to expand upon DC Cinematic universe, but I have learned that WB/DC are contemptuous of their fans. So this makes perfect sense coming from them. 

 Affleck is a known quantity to me, and he has just never entertained me in fact I usually try to avoid his movies, granted I have never seen him at his best but there absolutely nothing about him that makes me even care to go check him out. 

Earlier I said he was wrong the choice, I don't think he is the worst choice but he is the wrong choice. Most of this comes from frustrated fan dreams that I had concocted around Bale as Batman for at least 3 more movies. 

 If they would have used Bale they could have done so much more to expand the universe.

 Would you think any less of me if I told that I am completely heartbroken at seeing my dreams shattered?

Any though my enthusiasm has been dimmed considerably by this news, I am still going to see the movie.. This is a movie that I have waited for seemingly all my life. And of course nothing they did could ever live up to decades of anticipation on my part. 

So in closing I just have to say, don't let this casting stop you from going to see the movie before you pass judgment. The movie might suck, but then again it could blow our minds.
